PATINA LA was founded by interior designer Sam Tannenbaum with a clear goal in mind: to make sourcing vintage accessories easier—and more realistic—for designers.
After years of navigating the Los Angeles design scene, Sam saw a recurring issue. Showrooms were filled with beautiful, but often overpriced, vintage pieces—and strict memo policies made them nearly impossible to use. With memo windows sometimes limited to just two days, designers were expected to source, style, present, and secure client approval all within an unrealistic timeline.
PATINA LA was created as the solution.
We offer extended memo periods, complimentary delivery, and free pickup for any items that don’t work in your space—giving designers the flexibility they actually need to do their jobs well.
Together with her partner, Chris O’Leary, Sam travels far and wide to source unique antique accessories at approachable price points. Each piece is thoughtfully selected for its character, history, and ability to bring warmth and depth into a space.
At PATINA LA, we believe that antique accessories are one of the easiest and most impactful ways to add soul to a home.

MEMO POLICY:
All memos are available for a full week! Simply email hello@patinala.com with a bullet point list of all the items you’d like to memo, and we’ll get back to you ASAP. Delivery and pickup are complimentary if you memo more than 10 items in the greater Los Angeles area. It's a no-brainer to give us a try for your next install!
At PATINA LA, each piece in our collection is carefully sourced and thoughtfully presented. All items are accurately photographed to show details, patina, and any imperfections. As vintage pieces, natural wear consistent with age is to be expected. Any notable damage or flaws will always be clearly documented and visible in product images.
We accept returns within 14 days of purchase. To be eligible for a return, items must be in the same condition in which they were received.
Please note:
Items that have been altered, damaged, or show additional wear after delivery are not eligible for return
Return shipping arrangements and costs are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise agreed upon
